Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Christian Match Nigeria (the “Service”), operated through our website and mobile applications. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure.
- You may not use the Service if you are barred under applicable law or previously banned by us.
2. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support@christianmatch.com.ng if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defraud, or exploit other users
- Post false, misleading, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions
- Solicit money, run scams, or promote commercial services unrelated to genuine connection
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service’s security or operation
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes

4. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, messages, profile text). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate, moderate, and improve the Service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our guidelines, with or without notice where urgent safety concerns exist.
5. Matching and messaging
Christian Match Nigeria helps faith-centered singles connect. We do not guarantee matches, responses, compatibility, or relationship outcomes. You interact with other users at your own discretion and risk.
6. Subscriptions (Gold)
Gold features may require payment through Paystack. Prices, access periods, refund eligibility, and other billing terms are shown at purchase.
7. Safety
Read our Safety Tips. We provide reporting and blocking tools but cannot guarantee the conduct of users on or off the platform. Use caution when communicating or meeting in person.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk to others, or as required by law. Upon termination, certain data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Christian Match Nigeria AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM USER INTERACTIONS, OFFLINE MEETINGS, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Nigeria, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material updates may also be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
